Notes
A sought-after Gift Set issued between 1953-54.
It comprises:
1) 23G Cooper-Bristol in green, racing number 6. Very near mint.
2) 23F Alfa Romeo in red, racing number 8. Near mint plus.
3) 23h Ferrari in blue, racing number 5. Near mint plus.
4) 23J HWM in light green with racing number 7. Very near mint.
5) 23N Maserati. Near mint.
Each racing car is set on the original slotted card insert which is clean and complete. Printed lettering is crisp and bright.
Careful glue repair and a small area of surface loss caused by original tape removal on the underside.
The colourful striped box lid is vibrantly-coloured.
Little surface wear/paper tear repairs on one side. A little age/handling wear besides.
Not often found with the correct card packing piece which fits over the models when stored in the box. A little wear to the reverse of this packing card but all complete.
