This Leyland Comet Lorry has a distinctive and scarce paint finish; French blue (not Royal blue), rich mid-brown/dark tan back and light blue wheels. Bright baseplate and axles, including the ends.
Couple of very minor retouches, hard to find a mark otherwise. Original grey tyres have a light flat spot.
The blue box with a complete picture label impresses with vivid colours on fine card. Period price pencilled on an end flap. Factory stamp ‘B’ denoting colour nearby.
