Notes
Issued for a short period during 1954, this version in orange & deep yellow with yellow wheels is such a rare find. Released in limited numbers, this is only the second that we have ever offered for sale in this colour finish.
Original grey tyres (well-shaped) including the spare still stowed.
The baseplate has a little ‘spidering’.
Several little marks to the paint finish and very minor sunfading if scrutinised to the cab. A little rough casting to the bed. Occasional minor wheel arch retouch, under scrupulous examination.
The early deep blue card box with a paper label is complete and bright. A little of the usual wear and grubbiness. Period price on the lid. Factory stamp ‘O’ denoting model colour on a short lid end.
One could wait years to find another example!
