Notes
This is the harder to find ‘flat style’ version of the Trade box for early Dinky Buses.
This remarkable survivor contains the following selection of Post-War Type 1 buses in pairs:
1) Earliest version in red and cream, with smooth black wheels and well-shaped smooth black tyres. Very near mint. Couple of very subtle touch-ins.
2) As above, but ridged black wheels. Very near mint.
3) Grey and green version with ridged black wheels. Well-shaped smooth black tyres. Near mint plus.
4) As above, but few subtle touch-ins.
5) Green & cream version with black ridged wheels and smooth black tyres. Couple of small touch-ins. Very near mint.
6) As above. Very near mint.
Flat style Trade box is larger than the more usual version where the buses are stored on their wheels. In this flat style box, the models lay on their sides.
Original card dividers. and a virtually complete yellow informative label. Small repaired handling tear at some time. A little age wear besides.
