Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This Jaguar model is in all original condition with a light metallic blue finish, fine silver trim, black gloss base with ‘Dinky Toys’ still visible. Pale grey interior. One-piece wheels and tyres. With spoke details.
In virtually mint condition. Note that the interior has been fitted askew (factory).
The pictorial card box shows light wear only (and is much better than the majority of these Nicky boxes).
A fascinating piece of Dinky history and well worth incorporating into your collection.
