Notes

An early example – made during one year only – 1948! A scarce Bedford truck with a bright paint finish in the early correct buff box.
This Bedford Articulated Lorry presents very well indeed. Red with black wings and wheels arches, red platform and coupling for the spare wheel. Earliest style fuel tank with no ‘over hang’ from the platform above. Black wheels and smooth black well-shaped tyres, with the exception of the trailer wheels which are radial. No window glazing on these early issues. 20mph sign is in place at the rear (near complete). Original tyres run well.

Minor marking to the paint finish. A few small touch-ins.
The buff card box has a virtually complete paper label. Shiny staples. Minor wear/age grubbiness. Faint factory stamp ‘R’ at a short lid end denoting colour of model.
