This just post-war Studebaker State Commander was made during 1946. This issue has a distinctive deep green finish, smooth balck wheels, fine tread tyes(well-shaped) and note the rare baseplate – one of just a very few that had this sheet metal baseplate using Hornby Train sheet metal left-overs (1946).
Close scrutiny finds touch-ins at some exposed edges.
