Notes
Issued between 1952-54 before its renumbering to 901, this classic Dinky truck has a 2nd type red cab and chassis, deep fawn back, grooved red Supertoy hubs, large painted hook and tanker slits to the underside. Fine lustre to the paint finish throughout:
Upon first (and even second!) glance, this model looks mint. Upon minute inspection, one may see a few small subtle retouches. Fine lustre throughout with vibrant day-one colours show that this item has been carefully handled and stored.
Brightest baseplate too.
A little age wear to the original radial tyres.
The deep blue box has a complete paper label.
Light wear/grubbiness including a little rubbing at edges. Shelf rubs on the underside. Faintly pencilled shopkeeper’s price on a short lid end.
With card packing piece.
