Dinky Toys 106 'The Prisoner' Mini-Moke
'The Prisoner' Mini-Moke by Dinky Toys, No. 106. Scarce version with CHROME windscreen frame & light brown running boards & side details. Very near mint /boxed. From The Ian Hewlett Collection. Starting bid £200. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Issued between 1967-70, and inspired by The Prisoner’ t.v. series from this period, this Mini Moke model has a virtually mint paint finish. Harder to find version with a chrome windscreen frame, light brown finish on running boards & side sections, complete red and white striped canopy, intact white plastic aerial and intact bonnet label, front and rear ‘Taxi’ labels. Shiny spun wheels.
Tiny crack to the plastic cover for the spare wheel (usually worse than this!).
The removable canopy is complete with all four plastic struts intact.
The colourfully illustrated pictorial card box is bright, clean and complete. Tiniest wear only.
Not an easy variation to find.
