A sought-after example of this attractive Gerry Anderson’s Thunderbird model!
This Fab 1 model has a gleaming paint finish and jewelled headlights. Both figures of Lady Penelope and Parker are seated inside. Correct canopy for this late issue i.e. no pink lines. The canopy glides well. Number plate at front only (no signs of a rear number plate ever having been applied). Intact radiator emblem, six jewelled headlights, and correct silver baseplate/bumpers. Detailed five stud cast wheels are correct for this issue.
Small mark to the pink paint finish on a front wing. Couple of tiny marks besides. In all original condition.
Note the printed details:
“The original Fab 1 can be seen at Heathfield Wildlife Park, East Sussex”.
The plinth is bright and complete. Minor marking caused by the wheels. Correct 2 yellow missiles as well as four red harpoons are still taped to the card plinth.
The original bubble lid is notably clear and intact. Remains of old tape at the ends.
