Notes
Dinky 140A Austin Atlantic Convertible models were made in various finished between 1951-53. This group comprises:
1) Gloss black the red interior and red wheels. The earliest and rarest example from this group. Smooth white original tyres and short front axle support. Very near mint.
2)Pink with cream interior and wheels. Well-shaped smooth black tyres. Longer front axle support. Near mint plus (hard to find a mark but scrupulous scrutiny finds a few very small retouches).
3) As above, although a very slightly deeper pink shade. Longer front axle support. Very near mint.
4) Light blue with deeper blue interior, cream wheels. Well-shaped smooth black tyres.
Very near mint.

5) Slightly lighter shade of sky blue with matte red interior. Cream wheels and well-shaped smooth black tyres. Longer front axle support. Very near mint.
6)As above but greyish-blue with blue interior. Excellent plus only. Longer front axle support. Light flat spot to smooth rear tyres.
Vivid yellow Dinky trade Box is clean. Tear to the shaped section on one long lid side has had a tape repair at some time. Remains of the original tape which kept the lid closed too. Tape applied at a lid corner seam. Small area of surface loss. Scuffs/storage wear besides. Period penned price on the lid. Nice to see the original dividers present!
