Notes
A cache of 6 Dinky 36G Taxi models housed in the original Dinky shopkeeper’s Trade Box as follows:
3 x early issues with open rear windows (2 x maroon & black, 1 x green & black, the latter with smooth white tyres).
3 x slightly later issues with closed rear windows (1 x maroon & black, 1 x red & black, 1 x green & black).
All examples have very close to perfect paint finishes, complete with cast in driver, and ‘TAXI’ sign on the roof, picked out in silver.
Flick of extra (later) paint may be seen at the rear wheel cover area lower section. The maroon & black version has later flick of maroon paint on one wing.
The outer Trade Box is bright and complete with intact sturdy card. Bright paper label at a lid end and note the factory Quality Control stamp. Period price in pencil on the lid. Replacement card dividers added at some time for ease of storage.
