An exciting stash of Armstrong Siddeley models contained in the shopkeeper’s Trade Box.
A variety of colour issues are offered:
1) Gloss mid-green, with mid grey (matte) seating, , green wheels and smooth black tyres (very faint flat spot or two). Very near mint.
2) As above but a lighter green shade with black wheels. Well shaped smooth black tyres. Very near mint (couple of ‘bloomed’ spots).
3)Gloss mid-grey with gloss mid-blue seating. Black ridged wheels ad well-shaped smooth black tyres (lightest flat spot). Very near mint.
4)As above, but export version with deeper grey wheels. Matte blue seating. Couple of retouches. Near mint plus.
5)Deep gloss grey with subtle paint defect. Blue seating. Black wheels and well-shaped smooth tyres. Extra dab of later paint. Near mint with a few chips.
6) Gloss red with maroon seating (matte). Black wheels and well-shaped tyres. Excellent plus with a few medium-sized retouches.
The sturdy lift-off lid shopkeeper’s trade box is bright and presents well. Sturdy yellow card with untarnished staples. Light age/handling wear and U.S. Export Label on the lid.
Note that replacement dividers have been added at some time.
