A very rare find indeed.
This Underslung Heavy Duty Lorry with Driver in RAF Blue was made for a short period 1947-48 in this colour finish. Using the casting from the military green issue made 1940-41.
In close to mint condition with a little wear to the paint finish in places. Silver trim. 18 wheels. Well-shaped treaded tyres. With two opening compartments.
Sturdy red lift-off lid box has a near complete pale blue illustrated paper label. Note rubbing to the red finish which has been restored with well-matched red ink in places.
