Notes
The owner asserts:
“I purchased these 3 colour trials from George Hatt who owned Digbys in the 80’s.
He was very friendly with Sue Pownall (Corgi Collector magazine editor) and had access to manufacturers in China”!
The production model was finished in cream – not quite so eye-catching as these three vibrant colour trials in vivid green, orange or yellow with cream hoods!
Not completely factory finished, so the rivets are not in place, with the base simply glued in place. As one might expect.
