Notes
A lifelong collector, Denis Tyler now passes the baton to the next generation of collectors.
With proceeds from the sale of his collection going to the charities that he loved.
One of the most prestigious Dinky models you can own; this is the sought-after ‘Lyons Swiss Rolls’ Dinky Guy Van model issued during 1952 only. Notoriously difficult to find in mint or even close to mint condition, this example has a very close to mint, fine lustrous paint finish. Distinctive transfers are perfect on both sides.
Shiny base and well-shaped original smooth tyres throughout.
Barely a mark to the paint finish. Occasional very small touch-in visible only to the keenest eye.
The model has a pleasing lustrous paint finish. Underneath, looks very bright and shiny too. Axles, including the ends, are rust-free.
The box continues the very close to mint theme. Shopkeeper’s original price of 5/11 is lightly penned. Very light age wear.
