Notes
An exceptionally scarce Guy Flat Truck in all original condition finished in deepest blue and grey and silver trim. 1st type cab, ridged wheels, small unpainted hook. Smooth tyres including the spare are well-shaped. Shiny axles including the ends are held by clips during this period.
Issued 1947-48.
In very close to mint condition.
The correct buff box with colourful and unfaded paper label is an impressive example. Sturdy card is firm and split-free. So often, these boxes can become softer and rougher over time – refreshing to see one as fine as this! Note the original colour spot label at one lid end. Staples are a little rusty now, unsurprisingly.
