An unusual Gift Set from Corgi, made in collaboration with Marks & Spencer and sold only in selected stores in small quantities. Several Gift Sets were made in the range for a short period (during 1978) with unique liveries and distinctive boxes. No mention of Corgi on the models.
This is one of the largest sets and comprises:
1) Corgi 162 ELF Tyrrell Racing Car with ELF 4 Racing labels and FIRST NATIONAL CITY Labels around cockpit. Deep blue with complete clean and bright distinctive labels. Mint.
2) Corgi 160 Hesketh-Ford 308 in white finish with perfect labels. Mint.
3) Corgi Fiat X19 in vivid green and black with complete and bright bonnet label. Very, very near mint.
4) Corgi Land-Rover in white with red roof, black roof rack and ladder. Complete FORMULA 1 Racing Team labels*. Very, very near mint.
5)Corgi JPS Lotus in black with gold trim, driver & complete labels, RN 1. Mint. With remains of original band which secures it to the bright gold trailer.
Attractive, pristine colourful card backdrop and formed plastic tray in which the models sit (split).
The large colourful lid is in vivid, clean & complete with intact cellophane. No graffiti.
