Notes
One of the most prestigious Dinky models you can own; this is the sought-after ‘Lyons Swiss Rolls’ Dinky Guy Van model issued during 1952 only. Notoriously difficult to find in mint or even close to mint condition, this example has a fine lustrous paint finish, happily free from re-touching or repainting, so often present in these high profile Dinky models. Distinctive transfers are perfect- very close to perfect on both sides.
Shiny base and well-shaped original smooth tyres throughout.
A little marking to the paint in the usual places, i.e. rear doors and exposed edges, and at some wheel arches.
The model has a pleasing lustrous paint finish. Underneath, looks very bright and shiny too. Axles, including the ends, are rust-free.
The box is complete, bright, clean and tear-free. Shopkeeper’s original price of 6/10 is penned. Light age wear.
