This early version has a mid tan cab, mid-green back, red hubs, complete black lettering, well-shaped smooth black tyres. An unplayed with example in virtually mint condition, complete with a working tow hook. Perfect ‘DINKY SERVICE’ lettering in black on both sides, bright winding handle (including the cuff) and baseplate. Looks completely unused with an outstanding lustre.
The striped ‘DINKY TOYS’ box marks the transition from the older numbering 25X to the new numbering 430. Bright and clean and bright with light wear only. Shiny staples too. Tiny wear only. Period price pencilled on a lid end.
With packing card piece and Dinky Quality Control Tag.
