Notes
Few early Corgi models have survived in this so-close-to-mint condition!
The car has a distinctive greenish-blue finish with bright flat spun hubs and a shiny rust-free baseplate. Obviously barely handled:
Upon the most scrupulous examination, there are a couple of the faintest marks on the roof and a tiny light scratch to one front side window; most would be forgiven for calling this example mint! Factory fault – the rear axle has been mis-aligned which means that the car leans to one side slightly.
The early powder blue picture box is quite crisp, and clean with vivid colours. Minor rubbing at edges here and there, and slight grubbiness, but no tears. Complete with all end flaps intact. No graffiti – not even a shopkeeper’s price.
