An unusual Gift Set from Corgi, made in collaboration with Marks & Spencer and sold only in selected stores in small quantities. Several Gift Sets were made in the range for a short period (during 1978) with unique liveries and distinctive boxes. No mention of Corgi on the models.
This is one of the two-piece sets and comprises:
1) Ferrari Daytona in bright yellow with complete clean and bright distinctive labels. Very near mint.
2) Speedboat in matching finish, with perfect paper labels. Fastened to a mint trailer.
Attractive, colourful card backdrop and notably intact plastic tray in which the models sit.
The large colourful lid day-one bright colours and intact cellophane. No graffiti. Minor storage wear.
Looks like unsold old shop stock.
