This classic early Foden truck has such a fine rich brown matt finish, with a silver flash and black chassis, black original herringbone tyres. Correct that this early issue has no tow hook.
Presents very well indeed. Issued between 1947-48. This high profile classic Dinky is in all original condition save for one tiny dot on the roof.
Base is complete with spare wheel affixed.
Occasional little mark to the matt finish.
The early buff box is brightly-coloured and has the correct colour spot on a short lid end. No seam tears or repairs on this early style box. Very nearly complete paper label. Very minor wear besides.
These early Foden models are becoming increasingly hard to find.
