Nicky Dinky 962 Muir-Hill Dumper Truck
Muir-Hill Dumper Truck by Nicky Dinky, No. 962. Very, very near mint/boxed (wear). With card packing. Scarce model from The Phenomenal Collection. Starting bid £300. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Sought-after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
Another first for QDT!
This rare model has a distinctive mid-green finish, with matching metal ridged wheels, well-shaped original tyres. Original blue plastic driver figure. Plastic steering wheel and black seat. Shiny base has Supertoys embossed.
Couple of negligible marks to the paint.
The correct end flap box with ATAMCO Calcutta printed is complete, although understandable wear and tear due to the comparatively flimsy card of the box.
