We are agents for a large lifetime Dinky collection ? some items were purchased directly from toy shops during the 1960?s. He would travel to toyshops in the search for any old or out-of date stock, since scarcely anyone collected in those early days. Many were bought or swapped at early swapmeet/toyfairs. Quite a few of the unboxed models were taken straight from trade boxes. An interesting and varied collection that has been amassed over some 30 or so years.

This is an outstanding scarce first type commercial truck in lustrous two tone green. Issued between 1952-54. Correct early version without triangular lugs at the sides of the number plate. In exceptional condition – so tempted to call this one mint!

The large painted hook has a couple of chips – otherwise mint! Hard to imagine a nicer example exists.
The blue and white striped pictorial box is complete, bright and intact with no splits.

Shopkeeper’s penned price of 5/6 at one end. A little minor handling wear/grubbiness and a small area of surface removal on the lid.

Rarely seen in this fine condition – one for the Dinky connoisseur.
