First issue (1966-69) in the range of transit vans produced by Dinky in various colour finishes and liveries. This example is in very close to mint condition in vivid deep yellow, with red interior, and a sliding side door, opening rear doors. Jewelled headlights. Blue base. Complete ‘HERTZ TRUCK RENTAL’ labels on both sides and at the rear opening doors. Original ‘J’ registration plates front and rear. Shiny wheels. As-new original tyres. Silver trim.
The colourful pictorial end flap box is bright and clean. Very crisp! Hard to find these late card boxes in good condition since the van is heavy in comparison to the relatively flimsy card box. Very minor wear and a period dollar price label.
