Notes
The hardest to find box version of this popular James Bond Aston Martin. Issued during 1973 only in this slim blue and yellow window box. Note this is the version without 270 printed on the front surface.
This James Bond DB5 has a silky metallic silver finish, fully-functioning. Ejector seat mechanism and the roof panel closes flush, revolving number plates, retractable machine guns, tyre slasher blades, telescopic over-riders – this car is literally loaded with features!
The silver paint finish is all original and in mint condition. Note the gold radiator. Rear bullet screen. Detailed spoked wheels with slasher blades. Suspension is fine on all wheels.
The ejector seat mechanism operates well – although as is often the case, the seat on which the villain sits needs a small nudge as one closes the roof in order to locate it in the correct place (as factory fitted).
Secret Instruction Packet is carefully opened and complete with all accessories.
The scarce blue and yellow window box without 270 printed on the front surface is complete and brightly-coloured. Intact original cellophane window. Light age wear/handling grubbiness.
