This Comet Wagon with Tailboard presents so well with an all-original glossy finish.
The cab and chassis are finished in deep French blue (not violet blue), the back is finished in mid blue, grooved ‘Supertoy’ wheels are cream (more often found with red wheels). Bright baseplate. Well-shaped radial tyres, including the spare.
A few little marks to the paint finish and a scuff to the front number-plate section.
The dark blue picture box has a complete paper label on sound intact card. No splits or graffiti (unless you count a period pencilled price at a lid end mostly removed at some time). Light wear Note the box base is a lighter blue shade (may be swapped from another Dinky commercial back in the day).
