French Dinky Toys 823 GMC Tanker

A sought-after item indeed from the French Dinky factory issued between 1969-70 only. This particular example is in very close to mint condition. Hard to find a mark to the paint finish (save for the occasional light mottled mark) Delicate transfer is complete on one side, tiniest lower portion of the other transfer is missing. Paper label “Liquides Inflammables”* is intact. The filler caps on the top of the tank are always susceptible to damage – pleased to say that this example is absolutely fine.
This example comes with the spare wheel behind the cab. Shiny axles and well-shaped original tyres.

Very fresh, clean and bright card plinth (few tiny tears). Transfers and road sign are still enclosed within the original sealed plastic packet. Promotional leaflet and card packing wedge included.

The outer box is complete and bright. Couple of very minor tears to the tuck-in part of both large end flaps. Hardly any wear besides.
A scarce model which is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
