Dinky Toys 571 Coles Mobile Crane
Coles Mobile Crane by Dinky Toys, No. 571. Early issue. Near mint/boxed, with all packing. From The Two Brothers Collection - a small childhood collection from the mid 1950's.
Notes
An original example of this classic Dinky Supertoy made between 1949-54. Later it was renumbered 971.
Early issue – so note that this example does not have ’COLES lettering or indeed the chevron markings at the rear. Deep yellow and matt black, with yellow ridged wheels. With tan driver. Steel winding handle cuffs (one has a tarnished area).
The model is in close to mint condition with original grey radial tyres (couple of flat spots and a stain to one).
Several little chips to the paint finish.
The early vivid deep blue box is a very attractive example with strong colours on intact card.
Card packing present.
