A rare find This Armstrong Whitworth Airliner ‘EXPLORER’ is a First for QDT.
In all original condition with a light blue and silver finish and complete ‘G-ADSV’ lettering. All four propellors present too. This is the version issued between 1945-49, without a gliding hole.
EXPLORER lettering is virtually complete on one side , complete on the other.
Little marking to the paint finish but less that one might expect for what is essentially an unboxed model, over 70 years old.
