We are pleased to offer for sale this very rare French Dinky Peugeot 402 Taxi in all original condition – this version was issued during 1948. Pleasing colour combination of deep blue and deep yellow with the delightful Taxi-Meter detail in tinplate. Tin plate front bumper too. one-piece metal wheels/tyres. Cast spare wheel on the boot, two rear windows. Silver trim. Tinplate base.
In all original condition throughout. Minor light crazing to the metal wheels. Occasional light rub/marking – essentially an unboxed model car more than 70 years old. During this period, this model would be sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box.
An exceptional find.
