Notes

Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! This is an early Indian Dinky model – later these models would be marketed as Nicky Toys. Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.

Finished in a metallic red shade with original silver details, off-white interior, black steering wheel, intact window glazing. Spun wheels and well-shaped separate tyres.
A rare find.

Shiny black base with Dinky obliterated but ’TOYS and VW present.
Several little chips to the paint.
Very rare to find in the early box with DINKY TOYS printed (not Nicky Toys) with S KUMAR & CO LTD CALCUTTA
and:
Registered Proprietors of Trade Mark

.

Distinctly different to the ‘standard’ later Nicky Toys box therefore.
A little age/handling wear only.
