Dinky Toys 601 Austin Paramoke
Austin Paramoke by Dinky Toys, No. 601. Early issue in card box. Complete with parachute and rarely found with BOTH Instruction Leaflets. Mint/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Price: £150.00
This item is no longer for sale, price for reference only.
Notes
Early issue first made during 1966 with spun wheels and presented in the pictorial card box (later issues were bubble-packed).
Model has a mint original paint finish and comes with a spare wheel and steering wheel (early issues never had a driver).
Tin windscreen can be raised and lowered (no corrosion). The grey plastic detachable top is complete with all delicate parts intact.
The green plastic assault platform is present, complete and intact, too. This Mini Moke does not appear to have been ever removed from its platform.
Fortunately, this example comes complete with both the parachute and most notably both Instruction Leaflets.
The colourfully illustrated pictorial card box is clean, bright and fresh although there is a tiny tear to one small end flap tuck-in section (always vulnerable). This box has fared better than the vast majority we have seen.
