Price: £1,650.00

This item is sold.

Notes

Purchased by the original owner from an ex-Corgi employee at the Northampton offices, this is a very rare factory sample piece. One of only a very small number made (the Mini Mostest model was only ever available commercially made under C349 numbering in orange-red).
This Morris Mini Minor is finished in lilac blue, with detailed cast wheels. With suspension and original decorative ‘MINI MOSTEST’ labels on the bonnet, roof and passenger side doors. Red interior.
Several light chips as one might expect for what is essentially an unboxed item, and some transfer loss.

It may be noted that in 1999 Sotheby’s Auction House sold another example in lilac blue which was the property of Marcel Van Cleemput, Chief Designer for Corgi.
