Notes
One of the sought-after Batman Gift Sets, this late version (copyright 1976) is presented in the header-card window box.
This set comprises:
1) Batmobile – with tow hook and both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Bright and original gloss finish, fully functioning and complete with aerial, intact light blue screens. Bright bat labels. Suspension is fine on all four wheels. Upon close inspection you may note a couple of micro-dots and some corrosion/dulling to the tyre cutter finish.
2) Batboat is the correct later version with plastic fin. Intact blue screens and bright chrome cockpit. Very bright paper labels including the bat labels on the fin. Gold trailer has the correct later whizzwheels. In mint condition.
Included – Full sprue of original yellow missiles.
Both items are housed in the original, intact, fresh and clean polystyrene inner.
Colourful and complete outer box has intact smooth original cellophane. Looks like unsold old shop stock.
Operating Instructions on this late issue were printed on the underside of the outer box.
