Corgi Toys 290 Kojak Buick
Kojak Buick by Corgi Toys, No. 290. MID-METALLIC BRONZE 'Hatted' version. Very near mint/boxed (opened for the first time for this listing). Just removed from a FACTORY-SEALED TRADE PACK - LAST ONE! With both figures of Kojak & Crocker. From The Wesley Lodge Collection.
Notes
The owner has decided to allow us to open this sealed factory pack of Corgi 2890 Kojak Buck models!
This wonderfully fresh example of the Kojak Buick is finished in rich mid-metallic bronze with 12-spoke wheels. Complete with both original figures of Kojak and Crocker, detachable beacon and badge. A small mark on the driver’s side door (caused by contact with Kojak). Still an exceptional display piece especially with the atmospheric skyscraper card backdrop. Earlier version with the card and polystyrene inner. Note that due to model movement at some time, there are a couple of repaired tears to the card inner.
Issue is dated 1976 on the pristine box – so second issue, 1976 printed – note that the first issue has Kojak’s Buick printed rather than simply Kojak Buick and has 1975 printed on the box.
Super-fresh example, both model and box, although note a tiny cellophane tear.
Just removed from the factory-sealed pack.

The model may have to be removed carefully from the box in order to ensure safe delivery.
