Three different variations of the Dinky 265 Plymouth Taxi are present in the collection just in!
Issued between 1960-64, this eye-catching Dinky taxi has a deep orange-yellow and red paint finish, bright shaped spun wheels with suspension and clean white original tyres. Of the three variations, this example has the deepest orange finish. Scarce with pale blue interior. Matte baseplate and a complete ‘Taxi’ sign on the roof. White (not cream) steering wheel. Presents very nicely indeed:
Just a couple of incidental pin prick marks. Lettering is fine on both sides.
The lighter yellow box is complete, clean and crisp with strong colours.
Very nice example of this scarce issue!
