Notes
The most difficult to find of the three Citroen Winter Sports vehicles made by Corgi.
This white and blue Citroen is in all original condition with a perfect and beautifully detailed “Grenoble” transfer on the bonnet. All delicate roof parts are complete and intact – there are even remains of the original elastic bands which secured the items to the roof. Ski-ing and figure on sled are still present. Note this version has a yellow roof rack, red & poles and skis.
Shaped spun wheels with suspension. The opening tailgate reveals where the skier and tobogganist can be stowed away safely in the back of the car (the rear seats may be folded down).
The colourful cellophane-fronted header card box is complete and bright with quite a crisp feel. Couple of very small light stains and very minor wear. Note the large header card stands up straight (so often found floppy). Original cellophane window has a couple of pinpoint punctures.
Card inner is complete and bright. It has serrated sides which enable the model to be extracted more easily by separating the card at these points. Both serrations have been used for this purpose.
With model-specific leaflet:
A very attractive example of this popular Corgi Olympic-inspired Citroen.
