Issued during 1970, this is an early Routemaster Bus with all the nice details not present in the later issues. Cast wheels. Conductor and driver. Ribbed roof (without the usual box rubs!), jewelled headlights. Cream interior, clear staircase.
Intact labels throughout save for a tiny rub to one. Negligible mark or two to the paint finish.
The cellophane-fronted box is complete, with intact original cellophane. Light rubbing and wear. Remains of an old price label on an end flap.
Not an easy variation to find.
