Corgi Toys 341 Mini Marcos GT 850 (x 2)
Mini Marcos by Corgi Toys, No. 341. Both versions of Gold and Silver Golden Jacks - as displayed in Woolworths (part of a cache of models from an ex-Woolworth employee). Very, very near mint - mint/boxed. Starting bid £150. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
First issued during 1968, these models are both finished in a lustrous metallic maroon finish with a white interior. Opening doors and bonnet, sliding seats, steering wheel and of course, Golden Jacks wheels. Note that the version with silver Golden Jacks is a slightly lighter shade.
Notably perfect ‘MINI MARCOS’ transfers on both sides.
Couple of tiny marks on the roof of the model with gold-coloured Golden Jacks.
Originally these models were promoting the Corgi Mini Marcos models in a Woolworth shop (the focus being the availability of either silver or golden coloured Golden Jacks, we are told by the owner).
The cellophane-fronted window box (just one) is pristine with intact original cellophane. Lightly-pencilled period price on en end flap.
