Notes

This promotional issue of the Vanwall racing car is an extremely difficult version to find. Tony Vandervell built the Vanwall Racing Car, driven by Stirling Moss. A very small quantity were produced with racing number 20 and printed Vandervell Products Ltd. information on the base.
Deep racing green finish, silver seat, driver figure. Clear screen. Flat spun wheels. Suspension on well-shaped original fine tread tyres.

Note that under close inspection one will see that this Vandervell version used the suspension Vanwall in red and so traces of the original red paint can be seen. Note too that unlike the standard Corgi 150S this model does not bear the embossed lettering ’150’s, ‘Corgi Toys’ or ‘Vanwall’.
Some chipping.
Blue and yellow picture box is complete and bright with a crisp feel. MInimal handling. With blue card packing piece.
With this model, a Period VANWALL badge too is included.
