Notes
A classic Dinky Supertoy model issued between 1954-60. The horse box has a bright and shining maroon body cast in aluminium. Notably intact “EXPRESS HORSE BOX HIRE SERVICE” letters on both sides. “BRITISH RAILWAYS” labels are complete (couple of tiny nicks on one label).
Presents well!
20 mph sign is in place on the hinged rear ramp. A few little exposed edge marks to the paint finish and three very small areas of black ink spattering on the roof.
The striped ‘DINKY TOYS’ picture box is complete and bright, with no splits or repairs. Minor age wear and a little rusting to the staples. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from July,1956.
