Notes
A rare find. This Double-Decker Bus has a glossy red finish, with upper deck surround in cream. Very nearly complete-complete ‘Tri-ang Pedal Motors’ and ‘Frog/Penguin’ advertisements at the sides, complete ‘Pedigree Prams’ transfer at the rear. ‘Putney’ destination with registration LBL 174. Virtually complete-complete ‘LONDON TRANSPORT’ lettering at the sides.
Working clockwork function. Wooden seating. Cast wheels. Smooth original black tyres are well-shaped. Shiny radiator and headlight assembly generally.
Occasional small scratch.
Most unusual box presentation. This lift-off lid box comes in pale blue with decorative, colourful details and a complete paper label on the lid. A little age wear includes a corner storage crumple to the base. Expected rubbing at edges etc.
Very nice – and so scarce!
