An entrancing 1950’s period promotional display sign. A must-have period display piece for the serious Dinky collector. This is a highly attractive sign with wooden "DINKY TOYS’ lettering fixed atop a red coloured panel within a grey metal frame. ‘MADE BY MECCANO LTD.’ in yellow print which illuminates. Pressed steel fitting. Sign measures approx. 40 cms x 8cms x 14.5 cms.
Fluorescent strip light in situ. Original wiring.
Only the most minor wear.
