Corgi Toys 412 Bedford Ambulance
Bedford "Utilecon" Ambulance by Corgi Toys, No. 412. First issue in cream with a divided windscreen. Very, very near mint/boxed. From Christoph's Collection.
Notes
First issue in cream with a divided windscreen, in very, very close to mint condition. Complete transfers on on both sides (save for a minute fleck). Nice bright baseplate. Smooth hubs. As-new tyres. Note the white-out side and rear windows are particularly well done, dome can look discoloured or a blue-ish colour. The latter effect is due to the ‘white-out’ covering blue-tinted screens. These screens are clear as is more usually a feature of second issue models. This makes the effect all the more pleasing to the eye.
Early blue picture box is complete and brightly-coloured with a crisp feel. Light wear.
