Notes
Sought-after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This ‘E’ Type Jaguar model is an exceptionally difficult variation to find in this distinctive mid-green colour shade with an intact detachable black hood, and detachable cream folded hood. Original windscreen is complete too.
Version with one-piece wheels and tyres.
Shiny base with no reference to the Indian manufacturer. ‘DINKY TOYS’ and product detail.
A little minor marking to the paint head-on and more marking on the underside.
The card picture box has wear, which is so often the case with these comparatively flimsy and fragile boxes. Little end flap seam tear and the tuck-in section of one large end flap has been re-attached.
