Corgi Toys 256 VW Safari & Rhino
Corgi 256 Volkswagen 1200 in East African Safari Trim with Rhino. Very near mint/boxed. Left-hand drive. With Leaflet. From Christoph's Collection.
Notes
A very popular Corgi model – this example is in close to mint condition, with a gleaming scarlet paint finish. The left-hand drive version has a notably complete detailed bonnet label, complete door numbers and “Nairobi” label. Chrome bumpers, wheels, baseplate, and sparkling jewelled headlights.
Note the little paint miss (factory) on the driver’s side. Mere dot or two besides.
It comes with the rhino, who sits atop the complete and colourfully illustrated card plinth. All push-out tabs for the wheels are still remarkably in place. Tiny wear only.
Vividly-coloured backdrop for this model.
Box reverse has lots of information about the “Beetle”.
The outer box is crisp and complete, with eye-catching graphics. Light wear and an internal end flap tear.
Model specific Leaflet included.
