A fine Dinky Supertoy from Dinky’s heyday; surely every child from the mid 50’s-60’s remembers it well! Very difficult to find absolutely mint, this example is one of the nicest we have seen in a while.
A lovely, bright yellow, all-original paint finish, a shining all metal winding handle, and fine “Euclid” lettering, logo, and wording on both sides. This example has none of the usual rubbing on the raised ‘ribs’ of the tipper etc. Several chips may be seen where metal meets metal etc, including at back edges of cab roof. Mechanism for raising and lowering the tipper works well. Card packing ring is still present too.
The striped Supertoy box is bright and clean.
There is a small puncture in the box lid, due to the winding handle but there are no pieces missing.
