A rare find! New Zealand version of Spot-on 401 Volkswagon Variant, correct without roof rack and skis. Finished in deep violet blue, with white plastic rear hatch, bright red interior, black steering wheel, spun wheels, well-shaped fine tread tyres, chrome trim, bare metal base. Suspension on front wheels only. Complete and shiny chrome (one little rub).

A little as-made paint blemish on the bonnet and a few tiny marks besides.
Vibrantly-coloured clean New Zealand box has re-fitted cellophane window. Vivid yellow card inner is intact too. Card piece on box reverse which could be lifted up to suspend the item by the shopkeeper for display has never been used, so still snugly fitting to the rear of the box. Tiny end flap tear.
